Safety is the PRIMARY concern at all of our events. Anyone driving in an unsafe manner will be removed from the event immediately. You must drive within your abilities and exercise good judgment. All rules listed below and communicated at the track are done so with one thing in mind, the safety of our participants.

NO RACING IS ALLOWED nor does Autosport Events provide organized track timing. In addition, passing is only allowed in designated passing zones and upon a "point-by" from the driver being passed. Participants are allowed to use their own personal timing systems however, this privilege can be revoked if it is determined to cause unsafe driving.

Everyone who participates in any event will be required to wear a helmet of a Snell rating of 2000 or higher. Helmets can have either an SA or an M designation.

Long pants are mandatory while on track. Long sleeve shirts and gloves are recommended, but not required. All clothing should be 100% cotton OR contain fireproof material. Synthetic clothing and even 50/50 shirts have a much greater tendency to melt and stick to the skin in the event of a fire. Shoes should be completely closed-toe (sandals not permitted), and should not have high heels or be too bulky to move around the pedals.

Passengers will only be permitted to ride with qualified, experienced drivers as determined by the event organizers. Any spin or loss of control when a passenger is in the car will result in termination of passenger privileges and possible expulsion from the event. Passengers must be at least 18 years old.

Vehicle Eligibility Requirements:

Typically ANY street car is eligible to run our events. We do NOT allow SUVs, trucks, or vans, but any car from a Honda to a Ferrari is ok to bring to the track.

Purpose built race cars (Formula Cars, karts, etc.) are not allowed at Autosport Events Sportscar Track Days.

An Autosport Events tech form must be filled out and presented at registration (click here to download). Autosport Events Sportscar Track Days are self-tech events, but it is strongly recommended that a certified technician inspect your vehicle before any high speed driving event.

Drivers should check lug nuts and oil before each session. Tires and brakes should be checked after each session. Remember that it is up to the driver to be responsible for their car and its safety.

Convertibles ARE allowed, but must have integrated rollover protection extending at least 2 inches above the top of the driver’s head. If running with a soft top, the top must be in the up and closed position. Open tops are allowed if all passengers have full arm restraints. Let's repeat that... OPEN TOPS ARE ONLY ALLOWED IF ALL PASSENGERS HAVE FULL ARM RESTRAINTS.
